Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'd Love to See as Movies/TV Shows

I've decided to jump on board with Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week the topic is: books I'd love to see as movies or TV shows.

So I did participate in this TTT back in 2013 and I am sad to say not a one of my picks has been developed for the big or small screen :( (Thought two are still "rumored.") Here are my picks since then.

Wasn't that the Lisa Lutz book that she wrote with her ex? I think I thought about reading it. Didn't they make a really funny trailer for it? I have vague memories.

Looked at your 2013 list. I agree that the Thursday Next series would be awesome and you know, with all the re-done fairy tale stuff, it would work now. And The Thirteenth Tale would be really good.

Haven't heard of any of these, so can't weigh in on the discussion of whether or not they should be movies. I'm not fond of horror movies, so those I'd pass. :)

Kay, yes that's the one! It is AWESOME on so many levels! (Oh, and THIRTEENTH TALE did get adapted but hasn't aired here in the States.)

Diane, horror is my favorite :) There's a serious lack of GOOD horror movies in my opinion so I'd love to see more made from books that I love. I'm going to hold out hope, based on the number of previous "blacklist" screenplays that are made in follow up years that BIRD BOX in particular gets made. Definitely stay far away if you don't like the scary stuff, though.
