An ordinary man can... surround himself with two thousand books... and thenceforward have at least one place in the world in which it is possible to be happy. ~Augustine Birrell
Top Ten Tuesday: Books From My Childhood That I'd Like to Revisit
I've decided to jump on board with Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week the topic is: books from my childhood - or teenage years - that I'd like to revisit.
Ah, you had some good ones here. The Witch of Blackbird Pond - read this one to my daughter and I think I liked it better than she did. Might have been a little old for her at the time. Christina's Ghost - I loved that one. It was one my daughter's elementary school librarian pushed into my hands and said, "Read it!". And I think I remember Chain Letter as well. LOL
Did you ever read Wait Till Helen Comes by Mary Downing Hahn? Another creepy one. I should reread that one too. Nice list!! I went to my teen years for inspiration for mine.
