Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I'd Crush on if I were Fictional

I've decided to jump on board with Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week the topic is: Top Ten Characters I'd Crush on if I Were a Fictional Character.

This one requires a bit of thought on my part. I'm not sure that crushing on a character sticks with me long enough to remember them! Here goes:

1. Stu Redmond from Stephen King's The Stand - Stu is the only character that immediately came to mind, which is funny because Lori over at Broke and the Bookish listed him as well :)

2. Nicholas Brisbane from Deanna Raybourn's Lady Julia Grey series - um he's a moody, hot detective. Of course you have to crush on him!

3. Peter Grant from Ben Aaronovitch's Peter Grant series - he's a great lead! He's got magical abilities and sees ghosts and is a cop training as a wizard. He's just cool.

4. Jace from Rachel Vincent's Shifters series - this is one case where I fell for the nice guy instead of moody Marc.

5. Jackson Brodie from Kate Atkinson's series - oh, I just love everything about this character and having seen Jason Isaacs in the role solidified him as a definite crush.

6. Richard Mayhew from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere - he's an ordinary guy who gets sucked into extraordinary circumstances and handles it very well.

7. Puck from Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series - I felt so bad for poor Puck! I really liked him and am pretty sure I'd go for him over Ash.

8. Raylan Givens from Elmore Leonard's stories and Justified - this is a case where the actor playing the character has swayed me for sure. Timothy Olyphant plays such a fantastic Raylan! As a character he toes the line, breaking the rules when it suits him. (I could say the same about Luther from Neil Cross's Luther, the show of the same name, and Idris Elba as Luther.)

9. Henry from Lisa Lutz's Spellman - he watches Doctor Who! He also puts up with Izzy and her family and all their craziness. He's a good man.

10. Ben Traina from Vicki Pettersson's Signs of the Zodiac series - I cried over this character. Multiple times!

The only one of these guys I've both read and remember is Puck, who was totally the better choice. The fact that she chose boring Ash over him was part of why I hated that series.

Puck is a total cutie patootie! I only read the first book in the Iron Fey series, but I loved his goofy nature.

My Top Ten! :)
