The very precise intersection of fantasy and noir detective fiction is rich and interesting, and very much underdeveloped. I'm glad Mr Bledsoe is changing that.<br /><br />A good follow-up to this article, if you are so inclined, would be to ask Mr. Bledsoe about the specific inspirations for each book.
